General Information

The Jungfraublick Hotel is set in a quiet, slightly elevated area with a magnificent panoramic view of the Jungfrau alpine region and the lauterbrunnen valley. We are situated 10 walking minutes away from the railway station of Wengen and 5 walking minutes away from the cable car station. The newly renovated hotel offers 42 nicely furnished guests rooms. All rooms with bathtub or shower and toilet. Equipped with telephone, radio, cable TV and analog RJ-11 modem plug for the internet connection via telephone line. You have the choice between a room with balcony and view or rooms without balcony.

by car

You have to drive to Interlaken on the motorway 8 and change then to the road to Wilderswil and following the signs to Lauterbrunnen. There you have to park your car in the parking garage at the town entrance. In case you cannot find any free space there we would recommend you to try out the parking area near the church of Lauterbrunnen or the camping area "Schützenbach" (also situated in Lauterbrunnen). After you have parked your car take the train (Wengernalpbahn) up to Wengen. After a 15 minutes ride you reach Wengen and from the station we recommend you to follow the hotel signs up to our hotel.

public transportation

Use the train connections to reach Interlaken East station. There you have to change trains to the "Berner Oberland Bahn" which departs from plattform 2A. This train brings you directly to Lauterbrunnen. There is another change of trains to the "Wengernalpbahn" departing from the same plattform but on the other side of it. The "Wengernalpbahn" takes you in a 15 minutes ride up to Wengen. There we would recommend you to follow the hotel signs up to our hotel. By foot you will need around 10 minutes to get there.

The ski resorts of the Jungfrau region lie directly below the world-famous backdrop of the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau. The alpine landscape is as varied as the choice of pistes and runs. More than 45 mountain and cable railways and chair and ski lifts transport sports enthusiasts to over 200 km of pistes. Sledgers, winter hikers and cross-country skiers will all find ideal conditions. Après-ski attractions range from glacier bars, dance clubs and discos to sliding fun and romantic fondue evenings. As for accommodation, Grindelwald, Interlaken, Mürren, Wengen and Wilderswil offer an extensive choice to suit all tastes, from simple inns to luxury hotels.
