The Hotel Alpenruhe is situated in very quiet surroundings on a sunny plateau and right by the woods, only seven minutes on foot from the village centre. It has 40 beds in 24 rooms, all with bath/WC or shower/WC, telephone, radio, TV and balcony with magnificent views of mountains and the Lauterbrunnen valley.

Take the motorway to Interlaken. Take the Wilderswil exit to travel on good class roads to Lauterbrunnen. Since there is no street to Wengen, you must leave your car in Lauterbrunnen. At the station, there is a multi-storey car park. From Lauterbrunnen, the Wengernalp Railway (WAB) takes you in 14 minutes to Wengen (last train on weekdays at ca 23.30).
