General Description:

The Bareren Hotel (The Bear Inn) in Wilderswil near Interlaken has offered traditional hospitality since 1706. The comfortable, rustic rooms have been refurbished. The restaurant serves traditional Swiss cuisine and local specialities. The big and varied breakfast buffet gives the right start for the day. The dining room on the first floor is next to a comfortable lounge with a terrace. There are also 2 separate children's playrooms and a outdoor playground. Our helpful staff at the reception advises about excursions, hiking, biking, sports and adventures. Bikes as well as public transport by bus and train in the surrounding area are free of charge with the hotel's guest card. All rooms are comfortable and cosy, with a rustic decor. Rooms with balcony on request. All rooms have a nice view of the mountains and our lovely village. Smoking is only allowed on the balconies.
